Saw it on netflix. Best I can say, it was short. The stuff on Hosea was okay, can't really complain about it too much, but the present day youth group stuff was pretty lame from a filmmaking stand point. Good values and all that within it, but they spend way to much time before the actual story of Hosea, they make one characters phobia into bugs go from running joke, to joke that runs on so long you wonder if its a sideplot, they realize nope, just a bad running joke. The dialogue is really quite awful. If you don't know the story of Hosea, it has some worth, its an interesting tale and really highlights why God would be so offended that we worship false gods. But I would take a good sermon on Hosea over this any day. Most pastors I know also know how to be funny when the moment calls for it better than the week attempts in this.

I just watched it on Pure Flix streaming. I'm mainly watched it because Patty Duke is in it. I'm was sad to hear she passed away today.

The movie was wonderful. I really enjoyed it. I thought the acting was great all around. I enjoyed how they applied the story so teenagers could understand it and get the message. I enjoyed seeing the story of Hosea come to life. They did a good job with that too.

Patty Duke only had a very small part. I was hoping to see her again at the end but I enjoyed seeing her in it. It was nice to see mother and son together.
