Masterful.

The dialogue and inter-cut scenes are exhilarating. Exciting filmmaking that, unfortunately, some are too dumb to appreciate.

The editing was the standout for me.

My favourite part is when Steve and John are arguing before the Next event, I think it's the best scene in the movie. The music and the dialogue and the content what it says about the 2 characters and what they want and how they saw the events which happened says so much and it's played out perfectly.

reply

EXACTLY! THAT scene is far more exciting than most action scenes these days.

It;s just two men standing six feet from each other and they're just going nuts on each other. No punches, just vicious, heartless and lacerating words and then Steve mentions the '55 Margaux and that got him the verbal victory.

Sorkin is a screenwriting God.

I agree, this movie was really amazing. It worked so well as a film cos it was masterfully directed AND acted. It's rare for movies to have that perfect balance where everything comes together so effortlessly. You forget you're watching a film.

Absolutely! Everything just ran so smoothly. It's so fast paced it's as if you're just following Jobs around and watching him work. Brilliant filmmaking.
