Fun Fact: Steve's Biological Father Was A Muslim From Syria.

reply

And his mother hated it so much she only wanted a Christian family... LoL

reply

His mother or grandmother?

reply

his real sir name is jandali not gandali

reply

Get over yourself. The fact that Steve Jobs' father hails from Syria has been a well known fact for years and years. Old news. Really old news. I can see someone of elementary school age finding this "fun fact" to be fascinating, but not a mature, mentally competent adult.

In addition, Abdulfattah "John" Jandali is secular and not a practising Muslim, though he does abstain from pork for cultural reasons, the same way many of those raised in Jewish or Hindu families abstain from taboo foods even though they are not religious.

Also, it wasn't Steve's biological mother who refused to marry Jandali. She was forbidden to marry him by her hardline Catholic father and since she refused to go against her father's demands, they were forced to break up.

If they had gotten married, they would not have put up Steve and his sister up for adoption, and thus Steve would never have grown up in Palo Alto, and as a result would never have met Wozniak. Apple would never have happened and the world we live in today would be radically different as a consequence.

Now, that I find to be rather interesting from a philosophical perspective.

reply

yes, a secular muslem would avoid pork in muslem countries, although many secular muslems seem to like pork, but to avoid pork while living in america and still claim to be secular doesn't make much sense.

also finding excuse for his mother, because she didn't want to be cut from her fathers wealth is pathetic, there is no excuse for the father too.

reply

Steve's father was a muslim.

reply

[deleted]

Who said the father was wealthy? I grew up in a poor working class Catholic home and would never have defied my father for any reason, let alone having a baby out of wedlock - don't even think about it. there were several reasons that they could not marry: Steve's mother was too young to marry without her father's permission, you had to be 21 back then, and Jandali was a foreign student and would not have been allowed to work. She kept Steve for a couple of years, but From I have heard and from what we have seen of Steve's personality, he may have been an extremely difficult child with whom they could not cope as he was not placed for adoption until he was a toddler. There was a LOT of pressure on unmarried women to 'do the right thing' and place a child for adoption, thus removing an embarrassment to the family. Anyone around before the sexual revolution knows what it was like - no contraception, no abortion, and illegitimate children and their mothers e considered pariahs.

The biological parents eventually did marry, and they had a daughter who was not placed for adoption.

You have not provided any information that is not already widely known. There would be no Steve Jobs and Apple Inc if not for a Syrian Muslim!

reply

and bansky demonstrated it well

reply

You make it sound like Steve Jobs was important because of a tiny trivia of the religion and nationality of the sperm donor.

reply

There would be no Steve Jobs and Apple Inc if not for a Syrian Muslim!

reply

So you're saying that the only use for Syrian muslims is for breeding? Everything else about them is useless?

reply

Is that how you feel? You're filled with a lot of hate. The fact of the matter is that there would be no Steve Jobs and Apple Inc if not for a Syrian Muslim!

reply

I never stated how I felt. You're trumping up the identity of the father, who had no bearing on Steve Jobs' life up until late in it, even then he rejected his father. He had no influence on Steve. The only thing he did was be a sperm donor. So, it is you who feels that Syrian muslims are only good for breeding and are full of hate.

reply

A Syrian refugee created the most brilliant and influential human being in history. Deal with if you racist bigot.

reply

I doubt that. If it was Ken Thompson or Dennis Ritchie, Steve Jobs would have never been able to make Apple relevant. In fact, without those two people alone making UNIX and C language, you wouldnt be able to arguing with anyone on the internet. As for the most brilliant and influential human being in history, he doesnt even come close. I'm sorry the truth is going to make you cry but it is the truth.

Also, calling me a racist is just you projecting.

reply

Hmmm ... the person who created the richest company in HISTORY, is not the most brilliant and influential? lol you're just really dumb.

reply

the person who created the richest company in HISTORY, is not the most brilliant and influential?

Wrong. Apple is only around $700 billion net worth...so not even close to the #1 spot. ICBC is worth over $3 trillion. How about #2? Still nope. China Bank Construction is worth $2.5 trillion. How about #3? Sorry not even still because JP Morgan has that spot with $2.4 trillion.

You're really over inflating accomplishments because you're afraid to admit that your argument is weak as hell.

you're just really dumb.

I see you're continuing with the projections...

reply

...over inflating accomplishments...

lol Keep going. Tell us how Apple and Steve Jobs are not important you dummy.

reply

Tell us how Apple and Steve Jobs are not important

Actually, onus is on you to prove why he and Apple are important. You've offered no specific reason why he or Apple were important. You asserted Apple was the richest company, which is false. The only reason one can gleam based off your post is that they're the greatest only cause the biological father was a Syrian muslim. Sounds like you really havent thought this through...

you dummy.

You keep projecting...

reply

[deleted]

You're just the projection master. I guess if you have no justification, I can go on quoting Hitchens now..."That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence"...Let me know when you can actually form a thought.

reply

lol You think Steve Jobs wasn't important or influential. You're stupid.

reply

You are still projecting. We arent talking about what I think. We're talking about what you think. You're making a statement so stop being a coward and back it up. If you truly believed that then it should be readily easy for you to provide evidence. Until you can provide evidence that shows he was then you're just a liar and coward.

reply

lol Sure. Don't backtrack now. You said that Steve Jobs wasn't important or influential. You're a genuine idiot bigot who's upset because Job's biological father was a muslim from Syria.

reply

Oh it's not a backtrack. You're the one who thinks he was important and tried to attach an identity that he thoroughly rejected. Therefore, it's not about what I think, it's what you think. You just cant think of any justification for why Jobs was important other than his father is from Syria and a muslim. You know who are also from Syria and are muslims too? These guys... http://pamelageller.com/2016/01/more-savage-sex-attack-claims-teen-girls-gang-raped-by-four-syrian-refugees-in-germany.html/

Door swings both ways I'm afraid. That is why you're projecting because you're the idiot and the bigot. Like I've been pointing out, you cant come up with one even one proven reason and that is sad.

One hint, call me whatever you want, it doesnt change the fact that you havent a leg to stand on and you're a complete utter failure. I can at least name the things that Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson did that makes them important and influential. That's why I know your next response will just be more labels...that's because you're too stupid to name one real accomplishment ;)

reply

Wow, you're on a mission to let the world know how dumb you are, right? Lol you're so dumb. It's sad. Ignorance is one of the worst things that someone can be cursed with. Keep going, explain to us your hate for Steve Job's and his Muslim Syrian father. Do you even know who Steve Jobs was? Be honest, you have no idea do you dummy?

reply

Wow, you're on a mission to let the world know how dumb you are, right? Lol you're so dumb.

More projection. Still waiting for you to tell me why he was the most important and influential person.

Ignorance is one of the worst things that someone can be cursed with.

Yes it is, I pity you for being ignorant. You cant name one thing that made Jobs great.

Keep going, explain to us your hate for Steve Job's and his Muslim Syrian father.

Oh, I dont hate them. I just dont see the nationality and religious ideology as any important factor, like you kept pushing.

Do you even know who Steve Jobs was?

Do you know who Steve Wozniak is? If you did, you'd understand why I think he is more important than Jobs.

Be honest, you have no idea do you dummy?

Apparently you dont.

reply

I just dont see the nationality and religious ideology as any important factor, like you kept pushing.

Your xenophobic hate has no limits does it you vermin? The fact is that Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Inc, has Muslim ancestry, had it not been for a Syrian Muslim, there would not be a Steve Jobs or a Apple Inc. A man with Muslim ancestry founded richest american company ever. lol How does that make you feel you stupid bigot?

reply

I suggest you read about Jobs, Wozniak, and Apple because the only stupid bigot here is you. You clearly have no clue about Jobs and Apple. Here, I saved you the trouble of finding the wikipedia page... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Jobs

I doubt you'll read about them because you want to continue spreading lies and then call everyone a racist when they disagree with you.

reply

So you don't believe that Steve Jobs founded Apple Inc and was the CEO? Are you really this dumb? Jobs is the founder of Apple Inc and has Muslim ancestry. Had it not been for a Syrian Muslim, there would not be a Steve Jobs or Apple Inc. So yes, A man with Muslim ancestry founded the richest american company of all time. These are all facts. Deal with it.

reply

So you don't believe that Steve Jobs founded Apple Inc and was the CEO? Are you really this dumb?

Huh, I guess wikipedia is wrong when it says "co-founded", you might want to go update the wiki page, if it is wrong. I guess he wasnt fired from the CEO position that first time around...you better go update that part of the wiki page too..

ad it not been for a Syrian Muslim, there would not be a Steve Jobs or Apple Inc.

Ok but in reality had it not been for a polish/swiss-german ancestry of Steve Wozniak's family, Steve Jobs would have been a nobody and there would be no Apple Inc. As much importance you put on Jobs, Wozniak was more important since he made the Apple I and Apple II, and Jobs didnt do anything. These are all facts. Deal with it.

These are all facts. Deal with it.

No, these are called misrepresentation of the facts. You keep doing that to push identity politics. That's why I know you're projecting, you're too stupid to even go read a wiki page.

reply

lol I knew you were a racist islamophobic scum. Steve Jobs, a man of Muslim ancestry, founded Apple Inc and was the CEO you dummy. Woz wasn't smart enough to stick around so Steve gave that rat the boot. Had it not been for a Syrian Muslim, there would not be a Steve Jobs or Apple Inc. Facts! Deal with it you fool.

reply

I think maybe you should get over yourself. I didn't know that he was of Syrian descent either. If it's old news it sure wasn't publicized enough. You must be a Steve Jobs biographer or something.

reply

Well said. 

reply

'I didn't know that he was of Syrian descent either. If it's old news it sure wasn't publicized enough.'

Type Steve Jobs in Google.

Hey Presto!

It's that man again!!

reply

Not necessarily. Perhaps in that alternative timeline he would have met a Woz-like person in his neck of the woods and founded an Apple-like company. His will and determination from a genetic perspective would have been the same, even if the environment around him was different. Some say time is a like a river, you may throw a pebble in it, but the overall stream keeps flowing with little change. We'll never know, but we can't say definitively it would be radically different.

I think it was a mistake on the movie's part to attract the attention on the fact his father was from the middle East. Jobs looked like it. The very Aryan Fassbender... does not.

'Fun Fact: Steve's Biological Father Was A Muslim From Syria.'

OP will be telling us next the Barack Obama's father was a Muslim.

It's that man again!!

reply

Thank goodness Jobs wasn't raised in a Muslim culture because he would have been a nobody instead of what he became.

reply

Like we haven't heard that lie before. Get lost you idiot.
