shareI read somewhere he had left something in his will for her but that doesn't undo all the psychological damage and childhood trauma. Not to mention Lisa is a very bright, great person. No amount of money can replace a happy childhood.
sharehow did he treat her? He did what he was obligated to do - he paid the child support the court ordered him to. Why did he need to give her - or the mother, who constantly demanded money from him, more and more? He had zero obligation to the mother. She really annoyed me during the whole movie, with the whole "your daughter and her mother deserve money and a nice house" attitude. He owed the mother nothing. When she complained that she (the mother) needed to go to the doctor and dentist, and wanted Jobs to pay for it - I said, "then go get a job and pay for it yourself!" Why was she expecting a hand out from him? His legal obligation to his daughter was to pay child support, and he did that. He was not even obligated to pay for her Harvard college education.
Couldn't stand the self-entitled daughter, just like I couldn't stand the self-entitled mother.
