Use the Cupcake!

In the game where you had to use any item(s) to get across the pool without using your hands, I picked the cupcake.

"Hey! You in the pool. Carry me across to the other end and you can have this free cupcake. And anything else on the table that you want, I guess."

Oh, and by the way, the guy with the "winning" design was using his hands to hold the pants closed. He was disqualified.

The guy using the jeans that made it, also was not using the strategic intuition that they claimed he was. That was a learned skill. He did it exactly the way that they teach you in any of hundreds of swimmer safety/survival courses. He knew what he was going to do the second he saw them.

Plus I would have just eaten the cupcake and walked around the pool to the other side. They never said they HAD to get into the pool.

If I had to use something on the table, I would have used the jeans as well, since I learned to do that in the Navy and Army. However, I could easily swim across that pool with just my legs, so I'm not sure why nobody, especially the athletic swimmer, didn't just do that. He said they could use any of the items, not that they had to. Also, they were told they couldn't use their arms, not their hands. So technically, it could be argued that what he did was ok. Not to mention it was clear it was meant they couldn't use their hands to swim. So I think that's being a bit nit-picky. I thought the balloon in the garden hose was a pretty good idea, and she was I think the second closest to making it across. The guy who put the balloons in the net then jumped on them was just an idiot.
