Left vs Right Factual Error

About 14.5 minutes in, it states the left eye is wired to the right hemisphere and that the left eye is focused on the left size of the image. First of all, both eyes connect almost equally to each side of the brain. The right half of each retina connects to the right side of the brain and vice-versa. Secondly, you are not fixating on one side of the image with one eye and the other side with the other. If you were, you'd see double. Both eyes are focused on the same spot, and you see the remainder of the image with progressively more peripheral vision. So if you look at the center of the image, you'll see the left side of the image with the right side of your retina (mostly the right side of your macula), which means it's being perceived mostly by the right side of the brain. So they were right on that, but wrong on why. Which makes me wonder what else they're wrong about. Sadly, this is the second time I have seen a "science" show miss this concept in the past several months. They really need to do a better job with their fact-checking.

Also, I thought both photos looked more male, but maybe it's because of the faint but definitely noticeable darker tone from the shaved facial hair on the male side.
