When I found out that Stefanie Von Pfetten was not asked to return for season 2 of Cracked, I, like many others, was outraged. We kept asking Cracked why she would not be returning and we were ignored.

Finally, we have an answer. Stefanie said this on Twitter:

"in response to your question @seandplummer: I was dissapointed the lead actor felt he could not work with myself and Tracey Forbes our co-creator. I will miss the cast and crew. It was my dream job and I would've loved to fulfill my contract."

I posted this comment under the photo of Brooke Nevin who will be playing Dr. Clara Malone on the Cracked Facebook page:

How pathetic it is that you gave into the lead actor's demands. He is not the boss. You are. What you did was very unprofessional. Stefanie Von Pfetten is fantastic and she has been treated unfairly. She deserves better and so do the fans. Dayo Ade is the reason I started watching the show. Daniella quickly became my favourite character. I want to keep watching for Dayo, but as the biggest supporter of Canadian television, I must stand up for my beliefs and stop watching Cracked.

Stefanie Von Pfetten was my favorite actor on the show and after reading her tweet I am done watching Cracked. Apparently David Sutcliffe not only plays an ass on the show, he is one in real life and this isn't the first time he's proven that.

It's such a shame. For a show that deals with mental health issues, they sure don't know how to be decent off-camera...

My wife often sees him at the bank where she works and she told me he's very polite.

I am watching this primarily for David Sutcliffe so it won't really bother me at all. I think a new face could be good for the show! I am watching in the US, so only on Season 1, but I look forward to Season 2 with a different co-star! I'm sure David is the major draw for the show so he should work with someone he has chemistry with....and I don't see so much with this Stephanie person!!

I had to look into it when I saw only Sutcliff in the ads. This makes me sad as she was half of the show. He doesn't have another partner in the ads, so I don't know what will happen, or if I want to watch it?!

Do you happen to know when she posted that tweet? I've been looking for it, but I can't find it. It seems like she might have deleted it. :( It's horrible that they did this to her!

That seems to be the problem these days. A lead actor thinks they are so special that they can call the shots so instead of the bosses standing up to the "worker' they let the inmates run the asylum instead and give into their demands.

It's a shame but it seems that no matter what the country, no one has the balls to stand up to these people anymore

Isn't what they did kind of illegal? I mean, if this was some regular job and she was fired just because someone didn't get along with her, she would be able to sue. Also, contracts exist for a reason. If Stefanie had wanted to leave the show for whatever reason, they would have sued her. Yet they get away with this???

We don't know what was in the contract and this is definitely not a regular job

I like kids, but I don't think I could eat a whole one

But her contract was for more than one season based on her tweet and if an actor leaves a show before their contract is over, the show can sue them. That's why Angus T. Jones is still on Two and a Half Men.
