Don't understand how this got such great reviews

The plot was predictable. The acting was melodramatic and cartoonish. The script was worthless. Like someone else said, it was like the characters were not even trying to hide their guilt. This script seemed like a made for TV movie. From the first 5 minutes it was pretty clear what was going to happen and the actors didn't even try to make it suspenseful.

The islands and scenery were nice but apart from that, this movie was terrible.
