From the official Phantom 25th website (phantom25th.com) here's the worldwide release schedule for the show (blah to the states having to wait till February for the DVD/Blu-Ray):

So happy that CDs from the UK can play on US players. Stupid Region 2 DVDs! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

True, I went ahead and ordered the CD from the official site so I could get it in November instead of waiting till Feb. At least I'll have something.

How stupid of them to not release this in the U.S. when they release it in the U.K. I bet they could sell a ton of copies for Christmas.

Hooray! The Phantom 25th dvd and the LND dvd are SO on my Christmas list.

My blu ray copy arrived today! I loved the show.

The blu ray is released by universal. There is no region coding on the packaging or disc, but universal are reported to release their blu rays region free

So, if you don't want to wait for the blu ray, there's a good chance the uk version will play on american BD players.

I have a copy of the Blu-ray from the UK and it works on my player (in Canada)

So cannot wait to get this in February!! I'm hearing rumblings that I'm getting a Blu-Ray player for Christmas, so if they're true, come February, 'tis Phantom In HD Time!!! :):):):) I've been a fan of this show since day one, going so far as to put an ALW-Phantom costume together (which I still have & have augmented over the years). I won an award for it at a sci-fi/horror con some years ago. Seen some footage from this & it looks GREAT!! So glad ALW is, so far, cancer-free, and still with us.
