I was going to be all disparaging of your post, but given that you did not post anonymously and are actually making an effort produce your own stuff, kudos. Best of luck and I hope your upcoming film does well.

As to my opinion, take the La Quinta Inn scene. He goes up to the front desk after jumping through the window, and says, "Hello. I'm staying at the hotel." In the movie version that's it. In the spoken word, he explains: "Hello" (you have to start somewhere). "I'm staying at the hotel" (credibility). He also goes into detail about the Front Desk guy's reaction or lack thereof. Yeah, the guy has an indifferent expression in the film that's mildly amusing, but it can't be compared to Mike B's take on it in the spoken word.

Always been a fan of Mike's, but also a great respector of him as a human being after seeing SWWM. But the OP is correct (and I can't believe I am saying that), but I am listening to the audio right now, and although I enjoyed the film scene, with this audio I gotta say it was GENIUS, so perfectly performed and yet vulnerably shared, and Mike seems to be feeding off this audience energy too so it just keeps getting better and better...
