if the MPAA rated it, what rating would it get?

If you've seen it, I'd like your input. I just need to know if I can bring the whole family or not? Just a rough overview of the content would be helpful, thank you.

Well I haven't seen it, but I'm pretty familiar with his stand-up material and it's PG-13 stuff at worst. I have three of his stand-up albums and I can only remember one or two F-bombs in all three combined... That's about as raunchy as he gets. There are some adult themes and what not, but nothing that should result in any thing beyond a PG-13 rating. I'm definitely going to see it as soon as possible, so I'll try and remember to get back to you afterwards.

But a ton of stuff from the trailer looks like it comes straight off of the "Sleepwalk With Me" album, which is PG clean. I can't imagine the movie being any worse in terms of content.

I was a professional twice over: An analyst and a therapist. The world's first...

PG-13 for sure.

I met Cinderella once... she's actually kind of a bitch.

This ninny is too stupid to talk to. Sheesh. He wants to know if he can bring the whole family, but doesn't bother to reveal what his whole family is made up of. I am guessing it is two or three people as dumb as he is. Sure, pal, take 'em all. They won't get it any more than you will.

My guess is it would be PG-13 for language, sexual material, and a disturbing image. Basically there is one F word (could be another one that I'm forgetting), sex is implied a couple of times but never graphically at all, and one semi-gory scene when he has to go to the hospital after injuring himself during his sleepwalking, but probably nothing that any older kids would have an issue with.

The dvd says PG-13

It would probably get an NC-17 b/c the ratings system is rigged against indie films.

In real life, I'd say PG-13 for normal people. R if you are a sheltered prude.
