I enjoy them both. I just take this as its own thing. In no way do I see this as a prequel to Raymond Burr's Perry Mason.

Any day and twice on Sundays.
What were they thinking,
why even call it Perry Mason ... just call it something else that has no relationship to Perry Mason. Apparently THE ACTOR, Raymond Burr, was gay ... so by Hollywood logic that must mean that a remake must make the main chapter gay too.

Perry, Della and Paul were a great team, and the shows are still good today. Whatever this show it, it's hard to watch a whole episode.

The original series is one of my favorites. I have been binging it all winter and have gotten to season 3.

Every day after school it was on and if there was nothing else to do but homework on went the old B&W TV and whoosh whoosh the rabbit ears around and banging on the side of the beast to get decent reception. Every day I wake up to my 4K TV it amazes me. I always wondered what that paneling was in Perry's Office.

Ironside was not bad, but just not the same.
