Hated the ending

I think a better ending would have been a) she gets him released, as he was not guilty of harrassing her. b). He does his time, as he told her, only two more months left. He is released and she is waiting. May be a little cliched, but with work, either ending would suffice, in my opinion. And there would not be any lingering questions as with the actual end. I assume, that she moved out, and he did his time, and there was someone that would make it difficult for them to be together. But I hate to have to make assumptions.

I agree. If she were a better written character we wouldn't have to guess, we'd know because she followed the same traits the whole movie so we can apply them and make a safe assumption. Instead she's so back and forth & wishy washy that at the end we honestly don't know what she will do. Ambiguity is a fun way to end a film, but not when it's only there because of poor writing...
