Most important documentary for school students right now, hands down.

Epidemic with opioids is like with kids now in high school. No longer are they waiting to experiment with pills until College and I think largely it's because they want to fit in and more to the point, access to said pills is much more easier than it ever was when I was growing up and graduating high school in 03. Sure, we knew about it but it wasn't considered a thing, drinking 30 beers on a school night, that was what made you a hero. Anyway, for right now, this is easily one of the best documentaries ever made on the subject of addiction and his stories are powerful and incorporate both his athletic experience in college making mistakes and in the NBA continuing those mistakes because he could not handle the spotlight without taking his medicine. At this point I'm a firm believer that opiate addicts don't necessarily take it to get high after a short time, he simply take it to feel normal and social and productive and happy and the way that makes them the best they have to offer. They are far more safer and the benefits more visceral than any antidepressant on the market or combination of, and I seen a few years spin-offs of these medications hopefully without the addictive qualities being more of the regular. Anyway, right now the pills are the worst thing for a teenage kid to get involved with, and so this documentary if shown all across the country and every school and discussed it more in-depth afterwards and carried on as a message throughout the year, I think it could be a powerful Coalition that starts at the Youth Level and ultimately can carry a strong political message in a few years when they get a bit more organized and noticed by the national media.

Ha, yeah I know that this is a long response but I really feel strongly about this film. It changed my life forever in some ways and it's because his story is no different than millions of people around the world, he just tells it in such an unguarded fashion bus warranting the title.
