creepy, brainwashing, I can't describe it

This movie is sickening. I don't even know where to begin. I have no problem with most religions. I respect most people's point of views and etc. But this movie, this crap is ridiculous, I'm sorry. Yes it is crap. There is a good side and dark side to every religion. This one exposes the dark side.
I've studied sexuality in college. It's stupid, ignorant, and blind to force this purity crap down kids and teens throats. Teens and young adults should have fun and be allowed to have an intimate life. It's part of growing up, learning about the opposite gender, and learning what you want and don't want in life. Sex isn't evil, pre-martial sex isn't evil, you won't get hit by lighting for doing it and you probably won't go to hell for it if such a place even exist. We have but one life to live on this Earth that we know of and we should make the most of it. Kids should be educated on safe sex and relationships. Not brainwashed, not be told that men are evil if they want sex or women for that matter.

You see, this whole sexuality thing creates a problem. Look at the one girl in this movie talking about her husband. She almost sounded like she said she doesn't really love or have feelings for her husband that strongly, that god dictates her being with him. That is terrible! She should be allowed to be with whoever she wants, and if she was allowed to have sex and not act like one of these bigots in this film, she might have found out she doesn't have that deep of a connection with that guy. Physical relationships can dictate how much we feel about the other person BEFORE making the huge, lifetime commitment to marry them. It isn't everything, but sometimes it can give you that gut instinct if you are with the right person or not.
The father in this film is ridiculous as well. He's not educating, he's not spreading the message of god, he's brainwashing his kids and family. He's not speaking for god, he's speaking for himself. He doesn't want people getting down his daughters' pants. I'd like to kick that guys ass in real life if I ever came across him. It's not religion, it's a cult. A cult of evil and brainwashing.

I have a moderate religious side, but I'm also a scientist who supports the big bang, evolution, and the works. There is more to our humanity than religion in my opinion. Sex has nothing to do with being pure and passing on the "gift of life for god". We are genetically engineered to be reproducing machines. It's hardwired into our DNA that we want to reproduce and make as much offspring as possible. Why not have a little fun with it?
