6/10 is a disgrace for a film this good.

The most accurate london estate film yet. Ras is fantastic as is his younger brother. One of the best films in a long while

To be honest, I feel the content of the film demanded a more aggressive and bold style. She was too deliberate and methodical for me and I couldn't really get into it.

I'm not English and I understand the director wants to show the people for who they are, but I had some difficulty understanding the dialogue at times.

For a good gangster/street film, the director needs to create a distinct and interesting setting that acts almost as a character. I didn't think she was able to do this and I don't really think this was a priority for her. She spent entirely too much time on character development and not nearly enough time showing off the location. This looked and felt like every other English street movie ever made.

Interesting thematic content, but way too conservative filmmaking. She needed to take some risks stylistically to match the content. 5/10 for me.

I agree. Should be in the high 7 or 8 area. (ex: 7.8 - 8.99)

One of the best films I have seen this year so far

I thought 'Ill Manors' was way better personally. This one just seemed a bit dull.

'Turn It Up Another Ten Notches!!.'

I would probably have given it an 8 if it wasn't for the terrible non-ending.
