Sounds like a fascinating documentary.

Haven't read the story, but did just watch the show. Excellent work, as usual, by Ms Kennedy.

Yes, it was good. Although, I do wonder why Rory didn't give an
update on her moms family. Are her siblings still living?

Her sister Georgeann died in 1983.. Pat is living in Ireland..Her youngest sister, Ann, lives in NY. Her brothers are deceased. Quite a few of her nieces and nephews have passed as well. There as been alot of tragedy on the Skakel side of well that has been very sad. She is a strong woman, you would have to be to deal with the many tragedies as well as the good times.

Yeah people go on about the Kennedy curse but big families in general have their problems. Ethel's brothers were pretty reckless so it doesn't surprise me that they're no longer alive. She has had a unique and tough life.

Thanks. This info should've been included in the doc. After all, its entitled, "Ethel".

Time contraints. Rory could have seriously done a miniseries on her Skakel side alone... I could list all the tragedies here that Ethel has endured over her lifetime.. It is a stunning amount. Her Catholic faith helps her, she is devout.
