Ethel Kennedy's Kids

In the documentary Rory & Chris talks about how their mother brought structure, discipline, routine & organization to her children's lives after RFK was killed.

Well I read 3 bios on the Kennedys that covered the lives of Joe & Rose's kids from birth, their marriages & families. All the books had detailed chapters on Ethel & her kids after RFK was killed. About how she raised her kids, omments from the hired help and neighbors in Virginia & people that knew them upstate all were similar. RFK's kids along with Ethel's brother's kids were wild, undisciplined monsters that had no home training or boundaries. They could do what they wanted when they wanted with no consequences. Ethel felt it was her job to have more babies than Rose so she & Bobby would be the favorites with Joe. After she had them her job was done. Nannies raised them but weren't allowed to exert strict control over them. Ethel's kids knew their mother had no problem saying yes to whatever. Ethel also thought Jackie & Joan (Ted's wife) were stuck up and prissy because they didn't play sports and wallow in the dirt like she did or continue to have or try to more children. Jackie for one did not allow Caroline or JFK jr to go over to Ethel's home because her children were so wild & out of control. The one time she did allow JFK jr to go there the boys went out & stole something.

And your point is......? This documentary was made by Ethel's daughter. I think it's obvious to anyone who watched it that the view is pretty biased. Most people are biased when it comes to their family or loved ones. What did you expect the kids to say? The Kennedys always put up a united front. Always.

I think most people also know that rich people don't raise their own children. Jackie certainly had nannies and wasn't exactly in charge of the kiddie car pool. Jackie also didn't like Ethel and Joan was scared sh*tless of everyone so again, I don't understand the point in bringing that up. Sisters-in-law don't have to be besties.
