Very ugly kids

What an ugly family. You would think with all that money they could get their teeth fixed.

reply

What does their appearance have to do with anything?

reply

They focused on other things, like helping their fellow mankind. What a petty, idiotic thing to say. Troll.

Someone who watches this film and comes away from it thinking first and foremost about the physical appearance of the subject's offspring, and in such negative terms, clearly suffers from a condition for which there is no known cure. How sad.

Well said, goleafsgo27!

But I have to say that I didn't think they were "ugly". And I think RFK Jr. is really handsome!

I hate to admit it, but I came on this board looking for someone to say this. I knew people were thinking it. While it is shallow, I bet 99.9% of the viewers of this movie were thinking it. This family is challenged in the attractiveness arena.

reply

OK, we all know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but i think people vary greatly in how wide or narrow a range of looks we find appealing. Some find only one particular look or hair color or set of racial characteristics attractive, while others find many looks appealing. I for one, think the younger Ethel looked adorable. And not to sound too crude, but as the saying goes, I think that for at least a couple of her daughters, I wouldn't have kicked them outta bed for eatin' crackers! But again, for those who focused more on their looks than their accomplishments, my sympathies.

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I've always thought they were all very attractive.

reply

I do also.

I think the Kennedy family were very attractive people in general. In fact, during the first ever televised debates between Nixon and JFK in 1960, JFK was strikingly handsome in contrast to Nixon. This was considered to have helped JFK among women voters.

RFK was considered a very handsome man as well. As for Ethel, she was an absolute doll as a young woman, with unbelievable charisma as well. I think the kids all look just fine.

There are plenty of things to critisize about the Kennedys, this isn't one of them.

They have already deleted several threads from this board, this one would be a good one to delete as well.

Jack's son = the hottest of all the cousins.

In my opinion, RFK was good looking actually, as were his brothers. Ethel was cute. Ethel and RFK's children may not be as attractive as their parents/uncles etc but I agree with whoever said RFK Jr was handsome. David Kennedy was nice looking as well.

reply

JFK & Teddy got the looks. Robert didn't & then he married the female version of himself. Then most of the kids got the worst from both parents instead of the best. But look at Caroline Kennedy. Both parents are very attractive and she looks like one of Ethel's kids now. JFK jr got the goods from both parents. It's a crap shoot. Especially when all of them were very cute as children.

They are not aging well at all for an athletic family. Some of them also sound as old as Ethel. Maybe their love of the outdoors is the reason for the way their skin now looks. But their voices sounded old too.

I have yet to see anyone on either side of the family that I would consider ugly.....and I've seen ugly!!

I think we are conditioned to look at people post surgery and think "wow they look good". Obviously, they have not had work done, which is good, plus they are fair skinned people whose parents both had rabbit teeth. I think they are aging the way most people who love the sun should age. They are aging "gracefully"--no surgery. Good for them.

I have large front teeth and when I started school, some of the older students on the bus called me "Fang," Anyone who is or was a Paul Revere and the Raiders fan knows Fang, so I took it as a complement.
