So Unfair ( IMO )

So far 2 past seasonal winners have taken an All-Star comp.! Can Dom make it 3? Sure! Still don't see or hear of these people outside Siriano and Costello; plenty of red carpets! Seth Aaron has a line on HSN; that's about it! Dimitry is still anonymous as well! Opinions? ;-)

It's hardly "All Stars" without some of the winners, though. Otherwise, they might has well call it, "Project Runway: Do-Over". Most of these contestants were eliminated early or midway into their seasons. And now we have some plucked from other programs. To me, the winners at least elevate the competition.

Why is that a problem? You are asking for a charity cycle. If someone loses a season, it doesn't mean they are worse than a winner from another season. It's only fair the best designer gets the benefits. Plus, judging that they had to gather contestants from Under the Gunn, obviously PRAS has to take anyone willing to come.

Yeah, they should just stick to at least top 3, that would make more sense. Now we have two former winners and its becoming ridiculous.

This was discussed a lot when All Stars first started.
At first I agreed that previous winners should not be allowed, then I realized that the prize of being featured on QVC was so huge, career wise, for a designer, that I came around to thinking previous winners were okay. This was a separate deal.
Now, with the prize being much less, I tend to agree that former winners should not be allowed on All Stars. They have already had their shot and if they are not established designers, then it's just bad luck or that they are never going to be established designers. What good is giving them another chance?
