What jerks. Whether you like Sam's designs or not, he doesn't deserve to be treated like that. He is nowhere near as catty or mean as those two. Kini and ken are acting like high school bullies feeding off eachother's hatred of one person and it keeps building and building. It's obvious that most of the time they are mad at Sam for dumb things that they probably would'nt even think about if it were someone else. And usually when Sam is being snarky he is just trying to defend himself. It's hard to be in the situation. I bet years later kini and ken will look back at this and think "dang...we were really mean to him"
It's making this season hard to watch. I just feel bad for him.

They keep talking about how the judges love everything Sam does but it's not true. Alyssa especially always has issues with Sam's designs.

Kini is the one who can send a potato sack down the runway and the judges go nuts.

Mizrati is freaking obsessed with Sam. Total BS. Only reason he's there is Mizrati has a crush on him or something.

Yeah he definitely loves him. Maybe he has a crush ;). But seriously, whether or not his looks are good or bad, he doesn't deserve to be treated like this. They are just being bitter bitches. They need to just worry about themselves. Ken just ripped into him pretty horribly and it was hard to watch. You could tell it really hurt him. I think i am even more disgusted that nobody has tried to step in and be like "hey lets just calm down and be nice"

No one said anything because they were all thinking it. Even Emily who is one of the nicest contestants ever even said she agreed with what he was saying. I'm sure they all wanted to say something but Ken was the only one bold enough to say it to Sam's face.

Wow you guys are pretty mean. I think the person(s) you are mad at are the judges. I mean, what do you want Sam to do? Just leave the show and say "well the judges like me but the other contestants don't so im gonna leave this amazing oppurtunity?" it's rididculous. I don't love Sam. I have liked a few things but there have been a lot that i feel should have sent him home. But i also thought that about a lot of the contestants at times. it's fashion. There are going to be a lot of opinions. I mean, if i was a judge i'm sure everyone would say that i favor Dom too much but i just love her esthetic.

I think the frustration is that Sam doesn't try as hard because he is relying on coasting through by bring charming to the judges and flirting on the runway. And so far its working because he's put a lot of trash up there and somehow scrapes by. The other contestants are just tired of having to put their heart and soul into their garments and Sam can throw some chiffon or mesh on an ugly dress and get praised for it. Like tonight all the other designers were working up to the last minute and Sam was sitting around for hours doing nothing after putting purple organza on top of his ugly rainbow dress. Their feeling is he isn't putting in any effort.

Yes, but you don't know when that wave was edited in. It was made to look like flirting with Issac, but we don't know that.

They are frustrated! Sam isn't the best designer and has been in the bottom countless of times and is either "none" elimination or the better designer goes home.

Sure they could've approached things differently but seeing how Sam was acting on the runway with every compliment towards Kini or Ken, Sam would roll his eye like a little snot. He isn't so innocent.

Apparently Sam wrote not so nice things about Mitchel, I think, on his blog and was so incredibly rude when Mitchel faced him about. He can dish it but can't take it.

Sam annoys me, but he seems to take it well. He just brushes them off.

I completely agree with you. their behavior is despicable and while I DO believe they believe it comes from a justifiable place I honestly believe that it really is coming from a place of jealousy.The thing about Sam is that hes a very innovative and still very young designer with a different work process than them..Sams designs kind of evolve...and I think the judges (or producers) are hanging onto him because he has a "fresh" and youthful point of view that will make for a great finale runway show...I think without all the limits and time restraints Sam is capable of blowing us away with a collection.Kini is amazing too but like Georgina said, his taste level is questionable and he's veering off into the 80's matronly territory. And Ken has always been kind of a hit or miss...For me they have all had an equal number of good/bad looks. Fashion is subjective though and they shouldnt be taking it out on Sam if they feel like hes getting preferential treatment from the judges...Man up and say something to the judges!Im just so sick of them saying that Sam uses flirtation and his looks to get ahead.I dont find him attractive and I find his personality to be mediocre at best and yet I still feel like he deserves to be there.It has nothing to do with him as a person and everything to do with his talent and potential to create new and interesting designs.Get over it Ken and Kini!

Alyssa has called him out time and time again, you can tell she's had it with Sam. Isaac is definitely the one keeping Sam in the competition.

I agree. To be clear, I do not think Sam is doing his best and I believe that a lot of his looks were worthy of elimination. However, in the runway backstage scene with Ken in the latest episode, it seemed like Sam was being the calm and mature one. His skills may not be as developed as other designers, he may not be putting in enough effort. But Ken basically called him a liar for saying he wanted to be there for real. You can't tell someone what they're feeling. Even if he sucks, that doesn't mean he doesn't want to be there and doesn't care about designing. Sure, he has attitude issues too sometimes, and often thinks his designs are better than they are. But at this point it always seems to be Ken and/or Kini openly mocking and insulting him, and Sam brushing them off. If you don't think someone deserves to be there, take it up with the judges that are definitely doing a horrible job as usual. Ken was downright insulting, if he felt it was necessary to confront Sam he could have done it in several other ways that didn't include being an utter bitch.

I've lost all respect for Kini by now, I really liked him and his designs in his own season but now he seems so devoted to this cattiness. I thought he'd be a bit more mature than this. Emily admitted she didn't think Sam was up to par too, but she was actually nice to him when it came to personal interactions and didn't express herself in such a rude way even when she gave her opinion.
