Were they actually using drugs throughout the movie?

If not, that's some good acting.

I watched the whole thing with mild interest, but felt kind of unsatisfied at the end. It's hard for me to rate these low-budget very indie movies sometimes, because I do find myself intrigued, but wonder what the hell happened to my 90 minutes once they're through. However, I would be interested to see what the filmmaker could do with a bigger budget and more polished script (also less pube lighting - after the first couple of times, I almost turned it off).

They're coming to get you, Barbara!

Possibly, considering the star of the movie (Sara Anne Jones) died of a drug overdose shortly after this premiered.

How else would anyone make a piece of garbage like this?

They really were on drugs while filming this movie. The goal of director Jason Banker was to film a group of friends and how they live their lives, with no censorship. Sara Anne Jones is actually my cousin, and when I watched the premiere of Toad Road in Hollywood I hung out with Jason Banker afterward. That's how I know this. :) And what can I say, the movie is not for everyone. It's not meant to be a typical Hollywood flick. Gotta approach it with an open mind.

I just finished it and I'm blown away. I completely understood what the director was going for, and the blurring of reality and fiction was seamless and fascinating. The entire film was a fascinating. It's more of a sensory experience, (would make a great double feature with Enter The Void.) and You're cousin was great in it. So natural. My regards.

Thank you so much for the praise. And I loved Enter the Void! :) Yes like I tell people, it's not for everyone. You either love it, or think it's complete garbage. lol. I would also recommend Jason Banker's newest movie, "Felt". I haven't seen it yet, but it looks really good.
Thanks again!

I didn't beleoeve the way they were acting when they were "rolling". Their eyes would've looked different. And that must have been done weak speed

It sure seemed that way sometimes. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were actually using drugs throughout the movie. I mean, hey...if you're gonna make a movie about drugs...drug use seems only logical.
