I had the pleasure of seeing this at the NJ Filmfest. Better than expected. Truly surprising that they could pull this off. Kudos so the filmmakers.
shareI just finished watching it about 10 minutes ago. It was a very good film. I was actually scared during some scenes and I usually never get scared by movies. I am glad I watched it because it is a real treat. Another good Ouija board themed horror film is Witchboard. You should see it if you haven't already.

I doubt they had a water tower on this island. They would most likely have well water. If you have well water you need an pump to get it to the faucet or in this case the shower. Hope you dont think im attacking you im just trying to make a point. I did hate this movie though.

It's certainly better than those lousy attempts at music on your site John Wills When somebody excessively trolls & goes on about insignificant points (almost like a brain dead nit picker) such as if they can take a shower or not when the power is off, it really just comes across as dismissive. Showering on an island without the use of electricity is a valid point. It is not uncommon to see such questionable scenes in movies. Noticing details like that can give or take credibility from the movie as a whole. It is not everyone that notices such details. But in reading the message boards on IMDB, it is clear that many do. There is no need to label someone as a troll just for pointing it out. That said, and with much respect to the position at Clear Channel, which is one I am sure is not easy to attain, attacking musical talents on a personal website has less to do than any statements regarding like or dislike regarding the movie.
It would be nice to read threads that have to do with the movie is all I'm saying.
Which of course is something I am guilty of not doing with this remark...I'll just shut up now.

No electricity means no heat,the water would be cold,you need electricity to light the gas for the hot water tank.
shareI had no electricity after hurricane sandy, and it was friggin cold! the only thing that did work was my shower and I had hot water! My hot water heater does not need electricity.
Some need electricity to ignite the gas, some don't.
Not to mention that the water would stay hot for awhile it doesn't instantly get cold when the power goes out.
