The other adoptions

I wasn't too terribly surprised that the movie made no reference to the other adoptions from that same agency that would subsequently be overturned once proof of its fraudulent practices came to light.

If the FBI was able to find Elena's birth-mother surely they were able to locate records on the rest. Doubtless some of those adoptions were several years old. But the protagonist never seems to face the question of not only making a decision to relinquish her baby, but all of the others as well.

& the husband ... what a sport!

After all of that I'd have said, "No more babies! We'll get dog."

so the husband wasn't in on the "adoption" -- asking bc most of lifetime movies always make the hubby involved in some kind of "bad way". from reading the threads here it seems like he was truly a great hubby and just wanted his wife happy

I always say... if god doesn't want you to raise a child, he'll tell you.

and boo hoo hoo trying for A YEAR and getting pregnant only to lose the baby. that happens all the time. join the club and get in line.

the fact that they kept trying means that the miscarriage did not damage her system irreparably. so you keep trying for a couple of years. two whole years???

try waiting 9.

OH THANK YOU GOD! THANK YOU SO BLOODY MUCH!!! Basil Fawlty
