ENGROSSING FILM. TRULY CAPTURES THE FUTILITY OF EXISTENCE.

EVERYONE INVOLVED DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY WERE DOING AT THE TIME.

BUT NOW THEY DO.

I know you are trolling but I find the evolution and history of film fascinating... you could probably watch most important short films from the beginning of cinema in a day and it's amazing how quickly they got from these crude images to more sophisticated narratives like the Great Train Robbery, and the Man on the Moon, to the Chaplin shorts, Griffith features to the Wizard of Oz and Gone With the Wind in the space of a few decades. Then it all came around full circle with millennials creating Tumblr gifs, Snaps and Vines to express themselves.

THE EVOLUTION OF CINEMA IS A FASCINATING EXPLORATION OF MANKIND'S ACHIEVEMENTS AND MOTIVATIONS.

FROM THE LONG SHADOW PUPPETS IN THE FAR EAST TO VIRTUAL REALITY HEADSETS ON TRAINS HURTLING THROUGH CITIES IN THE WEST IT TRULY SHOWS THE CYCLE OF THE SUN AND THE JOY OF LIFE ON THIS ROCK.

WHETHER DUSK CAN BE PUT OFF INDEFINITELY IS NEXT ON THE LIST I THINK.

When that happens we will be forced to confront the question about whether indefinite life should only belong to the wealthy... it will become like the movie In Time.

FILMS LIKE IN TIME ARE WHY MOVIES ARE SO FASCINATING ABOUT THE MOTIVATIONS OF HUMANS.

I AM ALWAYS AMAZED WITH THE STORIES SOME PEOPLE CAN COME UP WITH.
