wow sitcoms are a dead genre

This gets prime time? These are terrible, obvious, and exaggerated jokes. I mean really, I`m waiting for the camera to pan over to stage left where a guy is sitting there on a drum set to do the badum buh.

Pick any 90`s sitcom out of a hat and it beats this...

This show is one step up from "Saved By the Bell". I keep waiting for Screech to come up to the bar. The morning-show guys on WDVE in Pittsburgh keep talking up this show because they're friends with Steve Byrne, who throws them a bone once in a while and invites them on to be extras. I finally watched it and couldn't believe how bad it was. No wonder it ended up on TBS.

that's kind of apples and oranges though. Saved by the bell was a saturday morning kids show, it's the icarly or hannah montana of yesteryear. This show is prime time.

That's the point. This show is trying to be prime-time, but has the mentality of a kid's program.

The episode I watched last night was so shockingly bad--the mugging, the camera landing on each character for an exaggerated "reaction" to the unfunny jokes, the abysmal writing.

Is it satire, irony, some kind inside joke poking fun at terrible sitcoms of the past?

How has this lasted a couple of seasons? I know it's TV, a sitcom, a comedy, nothing to take too seriously, but--seriously? This is bad stuff.
