Finally, a show bad enough for TBS...

...With the awful star power of Vince Vaughn. I can't wait to keep not watching this new season.

reply

I can't wait for you to NOT watch this season too. Fans don't want to read your whining and moaning.

reply

And I don't want to read your praise for a lousy show.

You and any other crybabies who get their feelings hurt because I don't like the same shows as they do are welcome not to read my posts.

reply

You're the one starting this thread whining and moaning, but we're the crybabies? BZZZZZZT! Try again.

And I don't want to read your praise for a lousy show.

Not a problem. You're not going to watch this show, there's no reason for you to be here to read people's gushing over this show. Yes, you have every right to post your pessimistic views. But if you're not watching, you're not seeing what's going on with the show there's no reason for you to roam this board. You will have no credibility. Uh, unless you're one of those idiotic IMDB trolls who drone on and on about how a show/movie sucks without having seen it.

reply

You're right, I'll probably never watch another episode because the one episode I did see was stale and crappy. I called it out for being lousy, I don't see how that's either whining or moaning. You're the one who took issue with me not liking it. So actually, I'd say I hit the nail on the head and I'm the winner.

There's a long standing tradition of making fun of terrible original TBS programming. Our contribution is just as important as those who come to the boards to praise the show and discuss how much they like it... Which is to say it's completely meaningless, because this is an internet forum.

reply

Critics are nothing more than overpaid bags of hot air. IMDb critics are just bags of hot air, spewing negativity on shows, many that don't deserve it, because it makes them feel more relevant/important than they actually are.

reply

I missed the connection. Am I a critic because I don't like this show?

reply

It's so fricking bad, it's almost hard to believe. One of the worst shows of all time. Korean Mom is so painfully unfunny it makes me cringe.

reply

Yeah, it is a cheap-shot show and it's meant to be liked by Asian-Americans and your average TBS fanboy.

Honestly, most reviewers agree with us that it is a crappy show.

reply

I'm Asian-American and I'm also a fan of TBS but this has got to be one of the worst shows on TV. I also cringe whenever the Korean mom attempts to be funny.

reply

Haha, good to know.

Just wanna let you know I didn't mean in anyway that Asian Americans are suppose to like it; it's just who it is intended to draw in.

reply

No worries- I honestly can't figure out what groups of people are supposed to like this

reply

I can't wait for you to NOT watch this season too. Fans don't want to read your whining and moaning.

I'm SO glad you cleared that up for me! Only FANS should post to IMDb. Got it.

reply

Only FANS should post to IMDb.

No. BUT why should you post on a board of a TV show you hate and constantly whine & bitch about it and then don't understand why others are yelling at you!! How childish is that?

Just because YOU don't like a show it should be cancelled. I'm sick & tired of seeing that comment. You don't like a show turn the damn channel & stop annoying the fans of the show.

reply

Actually, I've never even seen the show. And it's a safe bet that unless someone knocks me unconscious, ties me to a chair, and props my eyes open with toothpicks, I'll never see the show. I've seen commercials for the show and they were such a profound turn-off that I headed here to see if it was just me. Clearly it isn't. Bathroom humor. In pretty much every promo. Now THAT'S the mark of a gifted comedy writer. And sorry to have contributed further to your annoyance.

reply

This pretty much sums up why I came here as well. Was very surprised to see anything over a 5 for the rating. Then again, it is on the same network as all the Tyler Perry shows, so I guess that says something about what the audience will tolerate in general.

reply

Vince Vaughn is a hack and caters to the lowest common denominator when it comes to comedy. He is the same guy in every role he plays; the fast-talking douche with an ulterior motive and it is completely played out. Vaughn and his fellow producers should be ashamed to put out drek such as Sullivan and Son. He showed great promise in the "Psycho" remake, but none since. I love all kinds of humor, be it toilet to high-brow, but how much of this brand of crap can one network stand? I thought Tyler Perry had the concession on bad TBS shows, but I guess they have decided to branch out a bit.
When I heard Steve Byrne was getting his own show, I couldn't wait to see it; now, I wish it was something I could unsee. Not every show can be good, but does it have to be THIS bad? TBS needs to bury S&S, Men at Work and all Tyler Perry TV in the litter box where it belongs.

I have to return some video tapes.

reply

bottom line...this show stinks!
it's almost sad.

reply

This show is so bad it hurts...oh it hurts so bad.

Sir Ian McKellen? That dude must be knee-deep in boob.

This show is so weak, manufactured and unmemorable it makes me want to burn down an orphanage.
