mostly a disappointment

I saw it on DVD from my local library so I'm not complaining about time or money spent. I just had a bit higher hopes. Its focus is very narrow, "Global warming is bad and we all need to do what we can to minimize it."

While that in itself is NOT a bad message, the filmmakers could have shown more about the Artic itself. For example, the opening shots of a huge glacier with waterfalls. How thick was that glacier, how many square miles was it, what goes on to form the glacier and how fast does it move?

Or any number of interesting facets of the Arctic. But their focus was pretty narrow and it is tragic that IMAX films are going in that direction.
