Ridiculous

This movie is on TV in the UK even though it says it's released in 2014 so not sure what's going on there.

It's just an awful movie with annoying central characters and unbelievable actions being taken. If you rob a bank, just because you say that it's an experiment doesn't mean you get to ramble off into the next hill-billy town to prove that everyone is blatantly racist.

In reality one of these do-gooder experimental bank robbers would have been shot and killed at some point.

Also the number of flash backs was ridiculous, they must have jumped back in time about times! A dreadful movie.

Yep. Ridiculous.

There might be soilers here.
I like the sound of it and it was going good for me up to the point they showed the money laundering flashbacks.
I was even suspending belief about how they shamed their way out of a conviction and the fact the people in the banks never knew it was a science experiment.
To them they'd been robbed especially the woman who was held at gunpoint.
How must that've affected her!
Or even the stroppy police secretary who is intimidated, insulted and shaken by her one solitary conversation with him yet gets on her high house to her boss the sheriff (classic misandristic element far too common these days) saying he's not a thug.
Very sloppy writing also too common these days.
So many things wrong with this film and I really wanted to like it.
I think it tried to be too clever and that's is problem. Simple premise simple story.

Terrible film and that is why it is being shown on Sky in the year of its release - straight to video.

Personally I think watching paint dry is more fulfilling.

Sky tends to show a lot of these films, low budget films with a very short limited cinema release, then quickly on to DVD and pay tv stations.

Its that man again!!

Yes, Sky Movies has gone really downhill. I'm seriously considering cancelling it and getting Netflix instead.

I am watching this on Netflix right now. Believe me they get a lot of straight to video movies too. If you want to get the DVD you get a better choice. But streaming, you might be trading the witch for the devil. lol

I don't know abut SKY because it's not here, but Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime have a lot of crappy movies.

this film clearly isnt masquerading as a masterpiece so give it some margin of error.....as for it being believable well its a strecth but far from an abominal stretch.....1st off things that would normally constitute a crime have been waived off due to it bein a prank(to a lesser extent of course)....pranks that resulted in death or injury that would normally be manslaughter or assault etc. have been waived....even the prison experiment in the 70's that resulted in physical and mental injury including 1 death wasnt found to be criminal(although civil)....so again on that basis the experiment nullifying consequences is a bit of a strecth but keyword bit......secondly the film tried to showcase another incentive for police not filing charges and that was unwanted negative attention or even discipline...remember they called them *beep* and boy and were quick to point guns at hand cuffed men even threatening them.....again sad truth is in real life taped would be burned n them negroes would be shot(think mike brown and the 50 or so unarmed black men that were shot since mike brown til the end of the year)....but again at least the film offered a plausible incentive on top of the experiment for police to let it go.........but even though i mentioned them being shot in real life the film again put effort into giving plausible explanations for things which is miles above most movies and thats the fact that they purposely targeted small towns....the officer even said their town wasnt used to that sorta thing.....which is legit small towns are less prepared for those type of event and banks tend to be lacking armed security....so again plausible to get in and out without incident and once youre caught walking unarmed its a 50/50 chance of not being shot in real life lol chances a little better in the film

i think some people are a little harsh on it i mean some stretches but they offered plausible explanations for them...and it had some twist the 2 black actors were awesome the main cop was awesome the other cops were a little exaggerated and caricatures of trigger happy toward blacks type of cops but then again they exist......interesting story decent pace not rushed or drawn out a few cliches far from a masterpiece but decent flick and its rare to see black actors with a role that isnt a token or about racism(touches on it but merely an undertone and plot device) or slavery or a famous black person biopic so it gets my vote

Oh great, now it's my dick that's killing me
