How about Hal Moores, Warden of the prison in "The Green Mile"? His wife had a brain tumor that John Coffey helped heal. Excellent character actor! LOVED him as Cochrane in "Star Trek - First Contact." I am glad to see he's in a leading role, in "Still Mine."

He's done a LOT of television. I remember him as Stretch Cunningham on "All In The Family."

Just saw him on Tavis Smiley and was interested to find out he's seriously involved not only in Human Rights, but also Animal Rights. Makes me love him all the more!

How about L.A. Confidential where, playing Captain Dudley Smith of the LAPD, he was one of the leading lights of a truly awesome cast.

There's a difference between being frank... and being dick.

There is a little known film out there by the name of "Owd Bob". It is James Cromwell as an Irish sheep farmer whose grandson comes from America to live with him after his mother (Cromwell's daughter) dies in an auto accident. Cromwell loves to train champion Border Collies for shepherding. He and his grandson are at odds through most of the film. Without spoiling any further, watch this movie! It is well worth the time!

How about as Stretch Cunningham from the old All in the Family TV series. He made one or two appearances. I think he worked on the loading dock with Archie. But even after such a brief appearance I thought there was something interesting about this guy.

It drove me crazy too, I was sure it "George" but I wasn't sure about Genevieve Bujold, she looked so familiar. I didn't want to pause the movie so it was bugging me about both of them. Then I looked it up and of course, he was George and she was in Dead Ringers. They haven't changed much but time flies. She's still fierce, what great actors in this. Really glad to find out about James Cromwell being an activist and a vegetarian too.
