Meghan Doherty = Sarah Palin?

Ultra-conservative, snooty, spineless banker woman preoccupied with self lives in a trailer for a period with some cliche-spouting Christians (and we know they're Christians because they spout their corny truisms with stern looks on their faces) who try to get Sarah (I mean Meghan) to give up her selfish, big-town ways, but Meghan/Sarah resists. Laughs ensue as Sarah refuses the hard, godly (?) life of roughing it and cleaning up some rich guy's property (is this the God's country?) and participating in grade school type sporting events, campfires with weird songs re God's country (it's also an incoherent song!), wants her bonbons and fancy red sports car and city-life instead. Sarah breaks down in the end, realizes what a hypocrite she is (as if!) and affirms the message of the UP channel. Sarah decides to help a counselor she meets build a Christian college with a full academic curriculum (or is it an academy with a full Christian curriculum? e.g., anti-Darwin, climate change as controversy, God loves capitalism but hates gays)--just what the world needs, more of those! Good for unintended laughs and making Christians look like humorless, talentless, hardassed doofuses.

As one reviewer noted, 'some people are offended by the gospel of love no matter how it is presented.'

Any chance this includes you?

Mostly, though, people get offended when the gospel is shared through a story that makes everyone who isn't a Christian look like self-centered dickheads.
