All a dream

Love movies that make you think.

This was well filmed Lance Henriksen has appeared in some real drivel along with Clancy Brown and Ron Perlman - all superb actors - shame, but Lance always stands out and his performance as always was just perfect as he always is - I cant think of any movie in which he hasnt stolen the show with that distinctive gravel voice and hard wrinkled and wordly wise face playing everything from FBI agents to killers with perfection in every nuance of character - what a guy!!!

I think his father died in the cabin along with his sister - he returned to face his demons and all the memories came back causing him to hallucinate - i think he cut his throat at the end with him meeting his sister again and the door being symbolic of the door to another reality / heaven.

I guess it is all up to the viewers own perception but thats what makes a really good movie shine out and although it was laboured at times and seemed disconnected from reality I think this was all part of the directors intent.

I may be entirely wrong but I think its worthy of at least a 6 or 7.
