Just scratches the surface ...

The problems here are so complicated that as a society we can only attempt to save
children by legislative statute, and maybe that is the best we can do.

There is the experiential/intelligence aspect that older people can know more than a younger
person can even imagine and various points, and so really mess up their psychic development
and confuse them, maybe permanently. people are stuck in society and if they do not have
the nurturing and luck to give them a good job or position or enough capital they are basically
sitting ducks for coersion, if there is something someone wants from them. Why is sex more
traumatizing than forcing someone to labor their whole lives for pennies, or even worse, slavery.

There is the power inequality. Ask yourself why almost universally there are female prostitutes
and very few male prostitutes.

The money/economic inequality aspect.

There is the physical aspect, larger and older.

There is the social aspect, that rich established men can define the narrative, look at Islam
where if a women gets rapes in certain places and situations it is her fault, and she cannot
even testify.

And yet our biology has to keep up wanting to procreate to ensure our survival whatever
our intellects or values tell us, and the clash causes a heck of a lot of the modern problems
humanity faces.

We cannot even discuss this issue without people getting very emotional and blowing up.
Read some of the comments here about how threatened men are about being thought
pedophiles. The same power that causes men to fight or even kill when their sexuality
is questioned or confused. The whole subject is too loaded for a real discussion.

The movie starts with a line that is reminiscient of Andrea Dworkin's version of feminism,
which she expressed and argued pretty brilliantly that all sex, or almost all sex is rape.
No I don't think that but by the time two people got done discussing it there would be no
sex.
