One question... (Minor spoilers)

First of all, great movie! I really enjoyed it and will recommend it to my horror buddies.

What was the deal with the scene where Brooke goes down to an empty kitchen, but then all of the poker guys mysteriously appear? Anybody have theories on what this was supposed to signify, if anything?
