On The Spot Thoughts During The Premiere Of Scarecrow Thread (Spoilers?)

The older she gets, the hotter Lacey Chabert becomes.

Why is there always some wise old guy with a rifle and wearing a trucker hat in these movies?

reply

Who is that guy? He looks so familiar but he's not listed on imdb. I watch way too many of these awful movies so he's probably just from another one that I've already seen but it's kind of driving me nuts that I can't figure it out.

reply

You are not the only one who was wondering who that was and he looks so familiar if he wasn't so scruffy looking.

reply

He does look familiar. I'm sure they'll update the cast soon.

reply

Why, oh why do they have to kill the hottest girl with so much time left in the movie?

reply

Miley Cyrus hosting Saturday Night Live is going to be scarier then this movie.

reply

It looks more like a fuzzy spider then a scarecrow, dammit.

reply

I'm finding it odd that they didn't let at least one student live to at least near the end.

reply

How does a purdy lil' gal know how to operate a piece of machinery like that there?

reply

Yeah...I think I smell a sequel.

I'll give the movie a C+, maybe B-. It wasn't that bad. They might as well have not called it Scarecrow since the monster looked nothing like one. At least the cinematography was a tad better than a lot of these awful Syfy movies.

reply

I give it a C for a made for cable movie. SyFy has respectable gore, but they need to push the boundaries of what nudity they can get away with.

As an aside to the guy who deleted his post...those people die in movies like this because that's who the general audience WANTS to see get killed. Now, we hardcore horror lovers would like to see them survive, but it's never gonna happen.

reply

Being honest, I couldn't really root for the teens. Ones I did like died too early. From the get go, something told me to like Beth, but then I wasn't sure. They go from her telling Calvin about her parents dying to her set on wanting Kristen dead and all. I know she was in a life or death situation, but I would have prefered they did that to Maria because it seemed like a complete 180 from her character, I dunno.

But I could sorta tell that at the rate they were going, and Lacey Chabert's first scene, that the possibility of just having Kristen and Aaron alive was likely. Of course they didn't happen, but still.

Girl#1: We're dead if we don't do something.
Girl#2: Something's already dead. Your ends.
