ghost shipyard?

....seen also in canadian tv series such as FLASH GORDON & THE SECRET CIRCLE.
the ferry seen in the shipyard scenes was called the QUEEN OF SIDNEY and ran from 1960[or round about]until being decommisioned in the mid 90's.
the shipyard is called the SILVERDALE SALVAGE YARD in or near MISSION B.C.
the other older wooden ferry that is seen briefly is the SAN MATEO ferry.
i found most of this info on GOOGLE & WIKIPEDIA...any one else have any info?
