I'd like to see the actresses switch roles...

I think they both did a great job, but I could see it the other way around as well. Zhang Ziyi can definitely pull off the cruel villain role, as she had done before. Cecilia has this innocence about her and is a natural beauty without heavy colorful makeup. I think that would have been interesting, maybe even more convincing.
