Goof :P

I just realised that they messed up the chronology of the song "Le tango des illusions”. The movie is set between 1958 and 1959.

Jacqueline Boyer won the Eurovision in 1960 and her first album was released the same year. Le tango des illusions was released for sure after 1962.

That’s of course it's something of no importance. The dancing scene and the song were both amazing. I can surely overlook any chronological order for a scene that I cannot stop watching.

Here's another minor goof... Bob was telling the story about D-Day and mentioned the Marines landing on the beach, but the Marines never fought in the European Theater, only in the Pacific.

Wow, I didn't know that!

I always thought that they did at Normandy along with all the allies. But perhaps that part of the military did not had a part at that operation. Unfortunately I dont know whether they did or not.

Good catch! However, the movie was set in 1954, as indicated by the contest flyer.
