12 episodes long?

Seems kinda short to me. Is it really only 12 episodes long? Wolverine and the X-men was 26 episodes, and usually anime shows go on for close to 50 episodes per season.

actually the common rule of thumb is that most animes go for around 26 episodes.
Most American cartoons seasons generally run 13 episodes, unless it's an extended season or the season is split in two.

I think the whole point of Marvel Anime was to do 4 mini-series in total.
Each series getting 12 episodes. For a total of 48.

They MIGHT do a second season, or second series, for the Marvel Anime line.
But it's doubtful.
Personally, I'm fine with 12 episodes, because they told the story they set out to tell. If you stretch out a show longer than it's designed for, you start getting bad episodes, and I wouldn't want that.

I hope they do another set of shows, for a second season, to make the line-up more like an anthology.
I'd love to see a 12 episode DareDevil series, and who knows what other characters/teams could get their own series...

Well with animes like Digimon and Sailor Moon, each season was pretty close to 50 episodes. Wolverine and the X-men (american made) was 26. Seeing an anime only run for 12 episodes is unusual, at least with what I've seen. But I understand it was meant to be a mini series.

Honestly I'm glad it was only 12 episodes I love X-men, and always will so I would have watched every episode. I just hated the storyline of the X-men anime and hated how just about every single episode had some weird, mutated, bug monster thing attacking and it was "supposed" to be a mutant with an injection. That's taking it WAYYY too sci-fi for me. It was also very unpleasant to watch.

No, the USUAL thing with animes is to run for 26 episodes and sometimes 13. Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Naruto, etc. are exceptions.

You watch Logan's guest appearance in Iron Man, then Wolverine (Cyclops appears in two eps), then Logan's guest appearance in Blade, then finally X-Men and you pretty much got 26 episodes.
