Damn I couldn't recognize her at all until further into the story. I suppose for a Hollywood star she has done all she could possibly could, Botox and nip tuck and all that. Still she looks like a grandma. Poor woman
i think Sharon looks her age which is somewhere in the mid-50s range...imo, she does not look like she has had work done especially in the close-ups and the dark hair doesn't help anyway...trust me, all women know the basic rule of going lighter as you age...it softens the age lines and makes you appear younger...lol
Well I suppose I should trust your words cause I wouldn't know and assuming your alias makes you a female, you are all prone to details. :) I'm just saying that if Jennifer Aniston could look the way she is now at the age of 51, she must have invested a lot in top notch plastic. BTW I'm sure her face has been tampered with especially her chin. So I thought if Sharon Stone is serious about her career in the silver screen, there is no way she could convince herself to stay out of needles or scalpels. Either she has a low threshold for pain, she's a naturalist and embrace the inevitable with open arms or she must find a better surgeon. Mysteries abound. Indeed. LOL
I think (just like Videoscope Phantom of the Movie's magazine review of the film, who wrote that Blue-Ray wasn't kind to Sharon Stone & revealed her looking all of her "fifty-something" age range) that you might have missed Stone's acting sleight of hand. She obviously deglamorized herself BIG TIME for this role (at times I thought I was looking at a dark-haired Jennifer Jason Leigh or Jessica Lange). I think it was ultimately effective, as the role of an actor is to make you forget who he/she is & get you to lose youself in the plot's journey. Any critical pannings aside (and this film had its share of flaws & borderline heavy-handed elements) in my personal opinion, Sharon gave a very committed performance, quite fearless & intense. It's not her first time: watch her turn in ALPHA DOG. She purportedly is unrecognizable as Linda Lovelace's mother in the upcoming LOVELACE movie. I have no doubts she still looks amazing (like in BASIC INSTINCT 2) and this was more a trick of wardrobe & make-up.
Jesus, give me a break! If you didn't recognize her till halfway through the film, you are a complete moron. You're just trying to put her down. She doesn't look nearly as bad as you're making her out to be. Loser.
I am not a fan of hers, but I think she is still good looking these days but better as a blond.
But in this movie, not so good, I am blaming the make-up artists/department. They made her hair too black, like a stapler. Overall with the curly black hair she reminded me of .. Rene Descartes.
