PLEASE, BRING IT BACK!

Love the show, and I am very sad to see it go. Maybe back in the UK it didn't do too good, but here in US it was very well liked but many I know!

reply

I know, I was so excited when Cinemax wanted to bring it back for 4 episodes just to wrap up the story.

Looks like that wont happen :(

reply

The US (or whatever country you kids live in) must have absolutely awful TV programs if you're so desperate for junk like Hunted.

Perhaps you could show me where it says in the IMDB rule book that only the kiddies who like junk are allowed to post in the discussions? (Although, I have to admit, that does often seem like an unwritten rule around here.)

It's interesting that you have low tolerance for adults who have taste better than yours.

reply

No. I dont have low tolerance. Post wherever you like. I just hate for you to waste so much of your valuable time on a board for a show that you dislike so much, especially since it hasnt aired since 2013 and it was only on for 8 weeks......hardly seems worth your time

reply

Forgive me. 2012. So its been 2 years since the 8 episode show was canceled.

reply

Sorry for the late reply - I've been out of my country the past few days.

Your first reply to me was "OMG why are you still here???"

Perhaps you'd like to answer that question for yourself as this crappy show is no longer on the air and no company seems interested in bringing it back. Why do you come here and moan about it? What is the point? Do you really think the BBC or that American company are reading this forum and after one or two people say "please bring it back" they are going to jump into production? No one can be that dumb.

reply

I come back because i enjoyed the series.

Lol my first response to you was intended to be more funny than moaning. But i suppose its hard to translate that through text.

reply

Even if you did enjoy this crap, why would you come back to post in a thread "please bring it back"? Sure, you may think that would be nice, but how does posting that bring it about? You already know that I think this series is junk, and with a ridiculous posting like this, it only shows how out of touch with reality you seem to be. I hope that when you grow up your taste in entertainment will improve.

reply

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you feel the need to offend me. I come back because I commented on someone else's post. I just wanted to let them know that I enjoyed the series too. It's just a conversation. That's it. Do you think you could refrain from trying to insult me? It's not appreciated. Thank you. If I have offended you in any way, I do apologize.

People have different taste, that's all. You and I both happened to enjoy Southcliffe. I enjoyed Hunted and The Killing... you did not. There's nothing wrong with that. I respect your opinion as much as anyone elses... what I do not appreciate is being told that I'm "out of touch with reality" or that hopefully my taste will improve when I "grow up".... I'm not sure how old you think I am. And I could argue with you that I'm quite accomplished and have a great career. But this is hardly the place for that type of discussion, and I'm sure you don't really care anyways. Say what you want about a show you don't like. But please try not to offend people just because they like something you don't. I'm going to do my best to be respectful now, because I'd prefer not to have this argument get worse. Like I said in the previous post, if I offended you, I apologize.

This discussion, from how I look at it, is not about taste, but about the posting in a thread called "please bring it back". Who is this thread addressed to? So far, out of the tens of fans of Hunted, you are the only one, aside from the OP, who has posted in support of it. So, in summary, there are two people who care enough about this show to want it back.

Can you imagine getting to a train station or airport after your train or plane has already left and asking a train or plane employee to bring the vehicle back so that you can board? That's exactly how I see this thread. Everyone, except you two, have accepted that the show is (thankfully) over, done, dead, etc. The BBC will obviously not bring it back and the American company after saying two (or is it three?) years ago that they would continue it, have not done a thing.

If you feel that strongly about it, instead of posting here, why don't you write letters or try to start an on-line petition? I mean posting here is probably even more meaningless than wearing a "bring back Hunted" T-shirt.

About your age: I assumed that in your username, the "91" was the year of your birth. Combine that with the type of program Hunted is and it seemed pretty clear that that you are quite young. Obviously, this is not meant to be insulting, so I'm a bit surprised you seem to take offence at it.

For the record, I liked The Killing (assuming you mean Forbrydelsen - the Danish version). I also like Broen (The Bridge), Sherlock, Vera, Scott and Bailey and lots of well-made mystery shows.

Mmmmm... Flimflamfilm..... This show has an average vote of 7.5. Hardly 'junk'. So, your opinion is just that. An opinion. This type of negative campaigning against people who love this series is just not cool.

reply

Don't worry about that poster.
It is a fake account belonging to a troll who created it just to troll this board.
This is why that account and one or two other ones of the same troll have more posts between them than everyone else who ever posted here.

Watchable TV series, but wasn't particularly blown away by it. Started off strong enough, but really lost steam. A second season would have answered some lingering questions, but it's formula was routine.

absolutely, one of the better series of this genre in recent memory. my wife and I work in the industry and it has been so fascinating the calibre of TV stepping up over the past 10-15 years. hunted, along with similarly produced broadchurch, top of the lake, most honerable woman, the missing, etc, are done with equal, if not better, talent and production budgets as major motion pictures and redefine the possibility and potential of television.
you have excellent taste!!
