Frank Spotnitz FINALLY admits the show is canceled

As if anyone is surprised by this. Why on earth did it take him 2 years to own up to this? I have no idea.

The article states that Cinemax ultimately chose not to move ahead with the Hunted spinoff "Sam Hunter". Spotnitz stated that he and Melissa George would still be willing to revive the show if another network were willing to pick it up.

I've obviously lost faith in this ever happening. But I think if he truly wanted this, his best bet would be to engage with a streaming website. Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon.

But I don't think anyone wants to buy the show. In my opinion, he should just try to film a movie to wrap up the storyline. Something along the lines of what Firefly did with Serenity. Wraps up the story for all the characters, but also makes it easy enough to watch if you hadn't seen the show.... But I'm mostly just thinking out loud. This will not happen.

So, those of us that liked Hunted are left never knowing the answers - frustrating!!!

Yes, although a portion of Sam Hunter's childhood mystery was left unanswered, the main plotline was resolve, and the character ending was perfect. So, while not a perfect ending, it definitely could be worse.

Most of the time it is who you know rather than what you have since they can always steal what you have. I dont think this style will work for US shows.. US style would be like Alias and 24 and CSI and hawai 5.O.. anything that requires thinking wont fly..
