Why cant they do a 2 hour movie?

Sam Hunter was so badass, shes like a female Bond. I dont understand why cinemax cant let Spotnitz just do a 2 hour movie to wrap up the loose ends. It was a great miniseries, it just needs a solid 2 hour movie as its swan song.
