Ending falsely claims that Elton found true love in David Furnish

It seems that David Furnish is just as much the cheater as Scotsman John Reid.

"Canadian David Furnish, has been having a longtime affair with British businessman Daniel Laurence.

"Furnish had unprotected sex on numerous occasions with Laurence, and Furnish joined Laurence and his husband Pieter Van den Bergh for a Dec. 2011 threesome in a kiddie pool filled with olive oil."

I know, they're gay, and that lifestyle means things are often quite sordid and debaucherous, but this movie tries to claim that he found someone unlike the Scotsman, and that simply isn't true.

I know, we want a happy ending, but his "marriage" is no happy ending.

No more sordid or debaucherous than a lot of what goes on behind closed doors for many straight people actually.

I'm interested to know where you got those quotes from though. It sounds like something straight from the pages of the National Enquirer.

If there is any truth here, how do you know that John and Furnish don't have an understanding? Just because your unnamed source didn't mention it? They seem pretty happy every time they are pictured in public together and John himself has publicly expressed his devotion to Furnish many times. I don't know if they have a happy relationship but all evidence (other than the crass gossip you quoted) would suggest they're doing ok. They've certainly lasted longer than most in the entertainment business.

Lastly though, why do you use inverted commas when you refer to their marriage? They are legally married. No need to suggest they are not.
