I actually liked it more than I thought I would.

I saw this movie for the first time last night, and I have to say I liked it more than I thought I would.

Folks, it was never meant to be a masterpiece. It was meant to be a fun horror flick, to entertain horror fans. I agree, some of the acting was abysmal (Biff and the blonde girl being the worst ones). But I thought the creatures were really funny, and being a die hard Dourif fan, I was quite delighted to hear him voicing the grumpy "Worm Creature".
I was also amused to hear Tim Curry playing an evil clown again....I kept ad libbing Pennywise lines ("I'll teach ya to float down here").

It isn't the best movie in the world, but I've seen a lot worse. I thought this one was fun, and I love the song at the end (You and Me Versus the World).
To me, that just ties in the fun.

But to each their own.

I'm watching it for a second time on Xfinity Demand. I find the monsters hilarious.

I'll put something here later.
