Wonderful Film, Daring to tell a good story.

From Above is a human tale that needed telling and Norry stopped at nothing to bring it into being.

There is a purity of heart in this film and it shines and is electric. So simple, so moving in a time where cinema is defined so much by bravado, effects and blood. Love stories are mired in tragedy and awkwardness. From Above is secure reflecting an age where we have to let go.

Most importantly for me, it is one of the rare tales of First Nation people and culture. This is a film that will haunt you for weeks after you see it the way it did this morning weeks after I have seen it. It is small in scope but big in ideas. Good story costs the time and passion a writer puts into it. The viewer will feel it.
