I've been waiting for this movie since 2013 and the release date mentioned on IMDB is 5 September '14. I got shocked when I watched that movie in a very good print I don't know if it's a business tactic or what, but the thing to be cheered is Movie is out...
shareApparently it has a straight to DVD release in the UK set for early september, so I assume that those copies were used to rip them and spread them on streaming sites. Could be a buisness move, in this case though I'm pretty sure the producers etc. know that the audience for it is relatively small compared to block buster movies. But the early leak might at least help to raise awareness this movie even exists.
I watched it on a streaming site, but I'm gonna buy the BR anyway, if there is one hopefully, since I want to keep my Jason Bateman Collection complete^^

To anyone who still plans on watching it, the movie's visual style will remind you of Wes Anderson movies like Moonrise Kingdom and Grand Budapest Hotel, while the character depiction and their absurd "away from reality" behaviour reminds you more of a Woody Allen movie.
Overall I can't say this movie was great, it is special, special as in Moonrise Kingdom, Grand Budapest Hotel etc. Either you're gonna like it or not. I enjoyed it and I thought it was fun to watch. But you would have to see for yourself if it's for you.

really? That's strange. I honestly found this movie trying too hard and falling short in each of it's attempts.. Grand Budapest Hotel just plain hilariously brilliant.
