beautiful winter in New-York
Just finished watching it, and I could not stop thinking of Wes anderson meets the old school Woody Allen.
Smart dialogues, beautifully captured images and emotions.
I wont give up any spoilers, just loved it.
Love is a strong word.
My 2 cents: I didn't hate it. There wasn't much there to hate because there just wasn't much there.
It's frustrating that the narrative wasn't more ambitious. The story really could have benefited from some convolution.
The style of Wes Anderson is there, and well done, but the insane levity, emotion, and action was conspicuously MIA.
