The one obvious annoyance with Bateman's character is the utter lack of admitting he's broke and that the piano player in the film is Beatrice who really can't play, but the piano is in the film.
She's also not a poor girl working in a cafe living with her father. She's a pretentious beauty in an upscale apartment, but compared to Bateman's character, Conrad, she's down-to-earth and not a flake. share
