Can't help but compare this with Wes Anderson's stuff

Cast is good. Movie, not so good. Feels like a wannabe wes anderson flick, except that it really falls flat. From the narrative, to the shots, to the lines, it just comes out really flat. It tries to be interesting, but just fails to reel you in. Thoroughly disappointed with this. Even if you are a fan of any of the actors, it's still hard to stay on the positive with this movie. Good luck with this one.

yeah, it sounds like he was trying very hard but didn't pull it off.

Its better Wes Anderson movie than his recent works.

Immediately felt the vibe

but it's better than anderson's *beep*

not trying so hard to be charming

just a story with less *beep* that imitates realism

I get his stuff

but its a different genre

not really comparable

just has some qualities

but anderson ain't the first anyway
